PakalbėkimSign inTake part

Help someone start speaking.

A patient conversation is useful support in itself. You need a confident command of Lithuanian; it does not have to be your native language.

Two roles

  • A speaker supports the conversation and gives a beginner time.
  • A teacher also helps with corrections and pronunciation when the learner requests it.

How a meeting works

1

Welcome the learner

The learner greets you with “Pakalbėkim?” and shows a QR code. Scan it to open the shared dialogue.

2

Review the scenario

The app opens the learner’s chosen dialogue for an everyday situation at your venue.

3

Talk and encourage

Check the selected practice style: conversation or corrections with a teacher. Give the learner time. To finish, you can say “Šaunuolis!” or “Šaunuolė!” — “Well done!”

4

Confirm

Confirm the completed conversation in the app. Optionally choose an appreciation message for the learner; their appreciation will also appear in the app.

Through a partner venue

The pilot is completely free for everyone taking part. We plan to keep the project’s core features free in the future.

Independent participation

If you would like to help people speak Lithuanian independently of your workplace, leave your contact details. Participation currently works through partner venues. We will contact you when a separate way to join becomes available.
