Language helps you feel at home.
Order coffee without a translator, understand a neighbour’s question, talk to someone nearby. We are creating Pakalbėkim to bring learning Lithuanian closer to using it in daily life.
Theory gives you words; practice builds confidence
Courses, apps and books teach words and rules. Talking with another person helps you use them and gradually feel part of the city.
Keep practice going with kindness
Participants agree to practise Lithuanian instead of automatically switching to English. A shared language can help with explanations when needed.
Respect goes both ways
One person tries speaking a new language. The other offers time and support. That creates room for trust.
